Matthew is the Simulation Coordinator here at the Interprofessional Simulation Center. As Simulation Coordinator, he manages the operation side of our Simulation Center and works with educators to plan and coordinate events.

Matthew is a veteran, serving eight years as a Combat Medic for the Indiana Army Guard. Additionally, he has almost fifteen years of varied experience in healthcare, from dietary to working as a tech in physical therapy and wound care. He also is one of the first 100 simulationists worldwide to have both the Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certifications from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and has over six years of Simulation experience.

Matthew completed his undergraduate studies in Philosophy from IUPUI and has begun graduate studies at IU Bloomington for his Master's in Adult Education.
